NY Red Bulls (NYRB) II – The Baby Bulls Soccer Team of New Jersey

NY Red Bulls (NYRB) II – The Baby Bulls Soccer Team of New Jersey

The parent team NYRB (New York Red Bulls) was founded in 1994 and was named as New York/New Jersey MetroStars initially. The reserve team, which is also known as the baby bulls team, was founded on Jan. 21, 2015. They practice at Montclair State University's (MSU) Soccer Park at Pittser Field in New Jersey, USA.

The NYRB is a US-based professional soccer club, which attained permission to start a United Soccer League (USL) club in 2015. The formation of the baby bulls team was a result of those rights acquired by the parent club. The New York Red Bulls is the parent club that gives direction to NYRB II. This club also nurtures young talents and prepares them as future players for The New York Red Bulls club.

New York Red Bulls II 2021 Schedule

The baby bulls team is based in the New York metropolitan area and will start their season with the opening match on Apr. 30, 2021. They will end this season on Oct. 30, 2021. NYRB II will play against each Atlantic Division member team. During this period against each Atlantic Division member team, there will be four matches played. Two of the matches will be played on the home ground and two on other grounds.

The baby bulls team will start off with three matches to kick-start the season, and the fans are all ready to cheer their home team. Even though due to the COVID 19 pandemic restrictions, the fans will not be able to view the matches in the stadium, they are still excited about the tournament. These matches will be played in the MSU Soccer Park on Apr. 30 (against Hartford Athletic), May 7 (against Charleston Battery) and May 14 (against Miami FC).

Their fourth match is scheduled on May 18 at Segra Field against Loudoun United FC. The fifth match will be scheduled on May 23, 2021, at Patriots Point against Charleston Battery. The complete itinerary can be found on the website of The New York Red Bulls.

In 2020, they did not qualify and their position was 14th in the East section and 3rd in Group F. We hope this year will be better for the baby bulls team.
