The Montclair Public library was established in 1893. Located in Montclair, New Jersey, the library serves as the public library for the area. It has two buildings. One is the main library building. The main building of the library is a modern one that is refurbished, while the Bellevue Avenue branch is a historic building. Some of the services that the library offers residents of the town are:

•         The Kids place in the branch is an area loved by kids who get great books of their choice.

•         Residents who are homebound for any reason can avail themselves of the home assisted services to get books delivered to their homes.

•         People with disabilities can make use of the assistive technologies offered by the library.

•         There are business resources available for those who want to become entrepreneurs. 

•         A Notary public is available in the library from Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 11:30 am and 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The notary’s services can be availed through booking prior appointments.

•         The Auditorium and conference in the library can be booked for cultural, educational, and intellectual events.

•         Facilities for printing, scanning and copying are available in the library.
